The Joe Sharino Band recently won their 17th Best Band Award from the Metro Magazine's "Best of Silicon Valley Reader's Poll"! Thank you everyone! Thanks also to Metro for these kind comments:

He got his start moonlighting while a student at San Jose State in 1974, built a reputation for high-energy live shows and never missed that broadcasting degree. After almost four decades in the party-music business, if there's a song he hasn't played for the dance floor, maybe it doesn't belong there. What sets the Joe Sharino Band apart from other cover bands is charisma, lots of it. They've played weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and
festivals of every kind. And audiences have fun, dancing and singing along every second they're onstage. Their song list goes into the hundreds, ranging
from the 1940s to the present. It's like having a jukebox come to life."

The Joe Sharino Band is busy with five events in March and April, but the only public event for both months is the Joe Sharino Band’s 40th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 5th at the Historic Del Monte Building in downtown Sunnyvale. Saturday, April 5 - don’t miss the Joe Sharino Band’s 40th Anniversary Celebration at the Historic Del Monte Building in downtown Sunnyvale. Doors will open at 6:45pm and the band will perform from 8:00 to 11:00pm. We’ll be showing a video collage from all eras of Joe and the band’s 40 year career and a special guest will be announced shortly. There will be a full bar for refreshments and everyone will have a seat. Seating is first come first served. No food will be served but several great restaurants are within walking distance of the venue. A very limited number of tickets will be on sale starting later today, so don’t wait. As of March 6th, more than half of the tickets had been sold. Tickets are $30 in advance, $38 at the door (if available).
