Here are the details of last year's New Year's Eve Show:
Where: Embassy Suites Monterey Bay, 1441 Canyon Del Rey, Seaside, California. Every room
is a suite! Enjoy the indoor pool, huge atrium, a 1,000 gallon saltwater aquarium, all in a beautiful
garden setting. Plus there's a corporate business center, whirlpool, outdoor sundeck, sauna,
and fitness center, gift shop, laundry service, ample free parking,
and complimentary transportation to and from the Monterey Peninsula Airport.
The Embassy Suites hotel is located on a beautiful pond just two blocks from the beach in beautiful Seaside,
California. This convenient location
offers bay views and puts golf, hiking, surfing,
kayaking, deep-sea fishing, site seeing and shopping watching all within your reach.
And you'll stay just minutes from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Maritime Museum of Monterey, Monterey's
Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row, the famous 17-Mile Drive, the resorts of Pebble Beach,
Spyglass Hill Golf Course, Carmel by the Sea,
the Carmel Mission, the Links at Spanish Bay Golf Course, Big Sur and the National Steinbeck Center.
When: New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31, 2009. If you purchased a Dinner/Dance/Suite
Package for 2, you may check in to your suite anytime after 4:00 p.m., then you'll attend the cocktail
reception (for those with Dinner/Dance/Suite Packages only) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Ballroom doors open at 7:30, dinner is served at 8:00 p.m. sharp! If you've purchased
Dinner/Dance Tickets Only (no suite) please arrive at 7:30 p.m.
What: "Get Away To Monterey #6". It's an elegant dinner dance celebrating New Year's Eve!
Tickets are about two thirds sold, so don't wait too long!
If you purchase a Dinner/Dance/Hotel Suite Package which includes a suite, you will attend
a pre-party reception with complimentary hors d'eurves and cocktails
in the lobby of the Ballroom from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. You'll also enjoy a complimentary breakfast from
7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Ballroom doors open at 7:30 p.m., dinner is
served at 8:00 p.m. sharp.
The Joe Sharino Band will perform from 9:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are on sale now.

Toasted Pinenuts, Pears and Blue Cheese
With Roasted Shallot Dressing
or Lemon Honey Shallot Vinegrette Dressing
Second Course: A Double Entree
Filet Mignon with Port Demi Glaze with Cherry and Olive Relish
and Salmon Fillet with Tarragon Buerre Blanc
Served with Garlic Whipped Potato Swirl
Broccolini and Asparagus Spears with Shaved Carrots and Warm Cherry Tomatoes
Third Course:
Tall Vanilla Bean Cheesecake
With Black Berries and Raspberries
Starbucks Coffee Service

Assorted Fresh Baked Rolls
Fresh Brewed Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee and Assorted Teas

gratuity). Note - despite rising food costs, we have lowered the price
from the last few years.

Dinner/Dance Tickets without Hotel Suite:
Each Dinner Dance Ticket (without Suite) includes:
1 ticket to the dance with the Joe Sharino Band

The price for a Dinner Dance Only ticket is $189.95 per person or
$379.90 per couple for Dinner/Dance Tickets without a suite. Note - despite rising food costs,
we have lowered the price from the last few years. If you
purchase Dinner/Dance Tickets without
the suite, you should arrive at 7:30 p.m. sharp.
Add a Hotel Room for an additional night (12/30 or 1/1) By special arrangement,
we are offering the amazing
price of just $189.95 per night for additional nights
(includes 12% tax)
for a suite (these suites are usually considerably more especially including the tax). Again, we have
lowered this price from previous years. To receive
this great rate,
you must purchase the hotel rooms from the same website where tickets and packages are sold
or the 800 number where tickets are sold.
At this event last year, many people purchased hotel rooms
for Dec. 30, 31 and Jan. 1, but remember, to receive these special prices, you must purchase the hotel rooms
through our website's New Year's Eve Tickets link. Make New Year's Eve a mini vacation and
stay one or two
additional nights so you can play a round of golf, stroll the beach, visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row,
downtown Monterey, Fisherman's Wharf, the Seventeen Mile Drive or beautiful Carmel.

Dress: Semi formal or formal evening attire.
Directions: From the Bay Area take Hwy. 101 South to Hwy. 156 West to Hwy. 1 South and exit at
Highway 218/Seaside Exit to Canyon del Rey. Travel east on Canyon del Rey to first stop light.
The Hotel is located
at intersection of Canyon del Rey and Del Monte Blvd.
Seating: There will be assigned seating by table number. Each table seats ten people.
Seating within each section will also be done according to the earliest purchasers receiving the better
seats and those who purchase Dinner/Dance/Hotel Suite Package will be given priority in seating
over
those without Hotel Suites.
If you have specific people with whom you wish to be seated, (after you've purchased tickets)
please email us and give us your name and the names of the people with whom you'd like to
be seated. We must have the name of the person who purchased their tickets in order to find them.
Seating requests will be
taken until midnight on Dec. 26, 2009.
Age Restrictions? None, but liquor will only be served to people over 21 with valid California ID.
Other Questions? Don't call the hotel! Email us your questions before noon,
December 27, 2009 (the earlier the better).
Refunds? Refunds will be issued if we are notified of the request for refund via email before Dec. 27, 2009, 5 p.m. After this time, the meals and hotel suites
will have been ordered and guaranteed, so refunds will not be possible. A $60 charge will be
subtracted from each refund total, and note also that Brown Paper Tickets' fees are not refundable.
